Role Title: Cyber Security Solutions Consultant
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to work for one of our fastest growing pharmaceutical clients. This hybrid role involves both designing secure, practical solutions and providing expert consultation on new IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cyber security principles, a strong technical background, and the ability to assess and mitigate security risks in complex IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across teams, including application development, infrastructure, and network, to embed security into the entire IT landscape.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify security requirements and provide expert advice on security best practices.
- Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Design and implement security solutions to address critical challenges, ensuring alignment with organisational standards.
- Proactively run security improvement initiatives, bringing your expertise to drive innovation and enhance the company's overall security posture.
- Capacity to troubleshoot security infrastructure devices in case of need
- Recommend and implement security enhancements based on assessment findings.
Technical Expertise We Value
Your background should reflect expertise in several of the following areas:
- Application Security: Reviewing, testing, and securing applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Experience with cloud environments, cloud-native development, cloud security controls and SaaS
- Security Frameworks: Familiarity with standards like CIS Benchmark, Mitre ATT&CK, and regulatory compliance.
- Engineering Background: Hands-on engineering experience, including implementing security solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- We desire an experienced candidate able to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect, Security Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture frameworks and security engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
