Conexus Complete Munich to Paris Challenge in Aid of the RSPCA

The Conexus team are very proud to have completed their CSR initiative for 2024.

This year, the team took on the challenge of covering the distance between Munich, Germany and Paris, France in just 31 days. The overall distance came to 840km / 522 miles.

We took on the exciting new challenge all in aid of a cause close to our hearts—the RSPCA.

After last year's successful Cyclathon from Barcelona to Munich, we decided to continue to travel around the world. We’d previously gone from Cardiff to Barcelona, then Barcelona to Munich, so we had our sights set on our newest destination of Paris.

As of November 1st 2024, we reached our goal of 840km covered.

It was an incredibly tough and busy month, maintaining business operations and covering such a large distance.

Dogs like Jax are the reason why we worked so hard to raise funds for our chosen charity RSPCA.

This challenge was about much more than the miles we set out to cover. It was about the lives of our four-legged friends we'd impact.

The RSPCA does incredible work rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, advocating for animal welfare, and ensuring animals across the UK are treated with kindness and care. Our aim was to help them continue this vital mission through fundraising and awareness.

The Conexus team are big animal lovers. The RSPCA received over 1 million calls from the public in 2022 and rehomed over 20,000 animals across England and Wales into new, loving families.

We apply our athlete's approach to everything we do at Conexus, we know our strengths and we give our all, creating our own successes and celebrating each other’s. This challenge was no different-if not just a little more literal! Running the distance from Munich to Paris took determination, team work and a lot of grit, but we completed it.
