Barcelona based tech start-up, Glovo have chosen Conexus as a recruitment partner to help deliver on their technology
growth plans for 2021.
Conexus are thrilled to have been selected as a recruitment supplier for Glovo, who are now the fastest-growing delivery company in Europe, Western Asia, and Africa.
With food at the core of its business, Glovo delivers any product within your city at any time of day. They currently deliver over 100M+ annual orders and operate in 22 countries and 750+ cities.
Head-quartered in Barcelona, and operating since 2015, the Glovo mobile app operates as a personal shopper. While food is the focus of their offering, shoppers can use the app to buy products from any number of shops.
Glovo’s vision is to give everyone easy access to anything in their city, whilst also focusing on having a sustainable impact on the economy, society and environment.
With increasing demand due to their expansion across 22 countries in multiple territories, Glovo are rapidly scaling up their technology teams in Barcelona.
With Conexus leading in the field of digital transformation, across roles including SAP, Digital, Data Analytics and Cyber Security, we will be supporting with this growth.
This will involve over 100 vacancies filled within Glovo’s technology team, including Data, Analytics as well as backend engineering roles, which we’re aiming to fill over the next 12 months.
With discussions which began in 2020, quarter one of 2021 has seen the partnership kick into action and Conexus have already filled a number of positions including Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
