About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Architect to join our client to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure network infrastructures. This is a dynamic role where you'll ensure the highest levels of security while enabling operational efficiency across our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure network architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
- Analyze current security measures and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network security strategies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Lead efforts to detect, respond to, and mitigate security breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on security technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure network resilience and regulatory compliance.
- Document and maintain security protocols, incident response plans, and recovery processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network security architecture or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security technologies.
- Experience with tools such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or similar.
- Familiarity with frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, CISM) are highly desirable.
