Our client is a globally recognised consumer goods organisation with a turnover of approximately €20 billion. We're looking for a Digital Product Manager to join the team in Dusseldorf - in this role, you will oversee multiple finance applications, including BI, cost-related reporting, and analytics. You will act as a bridge between the technical teams based in India and business counterparts, ensuring seamless collaboration, as well as managing projects and driving process improvements Whilst have the ability to guide and influence team members without direct authority, often relying on collaboration and persuasion. What you can expect:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting solutions as part of our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Finance & Controlling BI team.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of EPM projects.
- Collaborate with the Application Owner to develop and maintain the product road-map, prioritising features and enhancements based on business value and stakeholder input.
- Work with EPM Business Application Owner, business key users, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in EPM technologies and financial planning & management reporting practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of internal teams.
- Ensure that the EPM system meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and usability.
What you'll have:
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
- Experience in a similar role within a large enterprise or consulting firm.
- Excellent project management skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading EPM implementations from either the business or IT side.
- Proficiency in SAP BPC 11.1 on BW4/HANA and related tools and technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello).
- Fluent in English.
