What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to implement data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to the development of Azure-based data infrastructure in partnership with our data/platform architects.
- Build state-of-the-art data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Integrate new data sources into our Azure Data Lake and monitor pipeline performance.
- Bring your own ideas and contribute confidently to the dynamic team environment.
What we would like from you:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Azure data engineering tech stack or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data science/machine learning packages.
- Experience with Databricks preferred.
- Strong software engineering skills including DevOps and Git workflows.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with BW is a plus.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; German proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a self-organising environment and a continuous learning mindset.
