Job description
Conexus is currently sourcing for an experienced Azure Data Architect to join a massive London-based project on a 6-month initial contract, before further extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data architectures using Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Ensure data governance and compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and support business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Azure Data Architect in Large Organisations
- Proficiency in Azure services: Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modelling.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or SQL.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
