Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Security Analyst to join their dynamic IT security team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our applications by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and working closely with their development and IT teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously assess and manage the security and risk posture across our application portfolio
- Support IT business partner teams in assessing and delivering secure business application solutions
- Collaborate with the security, technology and application/platform teams improving overall application security
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and execution of projects related to the application security roadmap.
- Drive application security training initiatives to enhance security awareness and knowledge
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional work experience in application and cloud security
- Understanding of architecture, security frameworks, business processes and organisation
- Analytical, proactive, independent way of working as well as strong self-organisation and sense of responsibility
